About this event

Amelia Coburn is on Friday 12 February 2027 at Portland Arms, Cambridge, with doors at 19:00. Tickets start at £17.10, including the booking fee.

Amelia Coburn has a knack for making the unusual sound timeless. Her honest, occasionally hilarious and quintessentially north eastern persona disarms and beguiles in equal measure. Drawing inspiration from gothic literature and the shadowy allure of film noir, there is a darkness at the heart of many of her songs, populated by vivid characters and nocturnal creatures that inhabit the liminal space “between the moon and the milkman” Price includes a 50p venue levy.

The trio of Jonny Helm (drums), Dave Tattersall (guitar & vocals) and Franic Rozycki (bass) have gone on to be one of the UK's most prolific and beloved bands.
