Simon Wozniak

The Lescar · Sheffield

After 13 arduous years on the Great British Comedy Circuit, a global pandemic and a current cost of living crisis, Wozniak, the self-proclaimed G.O.A.T, has finally announced his debut, and probably last, UK tour; Cash Grab. A naturally poor storyteller, come and join the voice of a lost generation (his words) as he takes you on a journey of absolute nothingness. All he asks is you attend with an open mind and respect. The bar will be low and he can't promise it'll be any good, but it should be funny.

Tales of Spirits and Souls

Kidlington St Nicholas Church · Islip

“Tales of Spirits and Souls” is a chilling story of the Elf-King who spirits away a child, as told by Goethe and Schubert; songs from Vaughan Williams’ A Shropshire Lad; and A Wailing on the Wind, a brilliant piece that weaves musical styles of Irish ballads and reels and American 1940s Big Bands with a banshee’s cry, to tell the story of a lost love when a teenage boy learns family secrets that forge links between the past and present. This is music and storytelling for everyone aged from 10 to 100. Sollar (String Quartet) with storyteller and tenor Daniel Norman perform by candlelight. Lasts about one hour without interval. Expect some Halloween treats and potions - it is Friday the 13th after all. Snap up our Halloween advance ticket offers (£20 > £18 / £15 > £13) / (Under 18s £6 > £5 / £5 > £4) - available until 31 October.
