Muscadin Live: Barn dance and World music

Shrewsbury House · London

Join us for an evening of lively music from Muscadin, a band with more than 50 years of experience and remarkably few changes to its line-up. Over the years, Muscadin has played for countless barn dances at folk clubs, wedding receptions and parties, in venues ranging from village, church and school halls to Cecil Sharp House—and even the dinosaur hall at the Natural History Museum. As well as British and Irish dance tunes, the band’s occasional concerts feature music from across Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Tickets: £5, with profits supporting Parkinson’s UK. Additional donations are warmly welcomed.

Against the odds, London Books has established itself as a much-loved, highly-respected independent that flies the flag for free-thinking literature. The London Classics are the jewels in its crown.
