Robert Vincent Band

Black Frog Presents at Social Club · Chelmsford

“The moment he started to sing I knew that this was something special” ~ Bob Harris OBE It is Robert Vincent’s powerful and soulful voice that has continually attracted acolytes such as Bob Harris, Paul Carrack, Robert Plant, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Announced as winner of UK Song of The Year at the UK Americana Music Association Awards 2025 for his track ‘Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow’ alongside a highly coveted nomination for UK Artist of The Year, Robert continues to enthral audiences and critics alike, showing his versatility as both a solo performer and with a full band. Most recently receiving the invitation to support Robert Plant & his and Saving Grace across their UK and European tour dates, there is an ever-growing excitement surrounding him, his captivating live performances, and his new album. The Liverpool singer/songwriter released his fourth studio album ‘Barriers’ in June 2024 to critical acclaim spending multiple weeks in the Country Music Charts nestled between Beyonce and Taylor Swift – but it was reaching the Top 10 of both the Independent Album Chart and Record Store Chart that really gave Vincent reason to celebrate, with critics re...

Wille & the bandits

Black Frog Presents at Social Club · Chelmsford

Wille and the Bandits have built a reputation as one of the most exciting and authentic live bands to emerge from the UK. Rooted in Cornwall, their music carries the spirit of a place that feels almost like the Deep South of the UK — miles from cities, shaped by wild coastlines, Atlantic weather, and a culture where individuality is survival. It’s a landscape that breeds grit, independence, and soul — and you can hear that in every note they play. The group features some of the finest musicians in the South West, each bringing world-class skill and fearless creativity to the stage. Wille’s slide guitar playing and voice his become the cornerstone of Wille and the Bandits’ sound, earning admiration from both fans and some of the biggest names in blues rock. “Wille is a superb slide player,” says Joe Bonamassa, while Beth Hart praises, “What a voice and some of the best songwriting you will hear.” His lap steel work carries fire, tenderness, and a sense of vast space — the sound of a musician who plays from the chest, not the ego. Another defining element of their sound is Stevie Watts on Hammond organ — voted UK Blues Instrumentalist of the Year — whose rich,...
