LANDMARQ Now in their 36th year, neo-prog rockers, Landmarq, are in the process of producing their 6th studio album - their 11th overall, counting their live album releases. But the as yet untitled new album will be the first with the newest members of the band, lead vocalist Wolf Campen and drummer Andy Allen who, to be fair, are not so new, having joined the Landmarq family back in 2018. Since then, along with long-time members Uwe Drose, Mike Varty and Steve Gee, Landmarq have played a series of gigs and festivals whilst also working on the new material. Unfortunately, various delays and setbacks (including two years of the pandemic lockdown) have held things up but the band are determined to complete and release the new album as soon as possible. Join Ewan Bleach for Sunday lunch in the company of his big band, The Fleeting Paradise Orchestra The ensemble plays arrangements of popular songs and original blues and jazz numbers from the 10-piece ‘territory’ bands of late 20s and early 30s America, such as Benny Moten, Charlie Johnson, Fess Williams and Duke Ellington. They also play material from dance bands from Canada and the UK, such as Guy Lombardo and Bert Ambrose, and some original compositions and arrangements by Ewan himself. Online tickets will be charged an extra 10% administrative fee.
