And this one is about much more than just putting on a great show. MadBand are raising money for Dementia UK, while giving us what promises to be a brilliantly entertaining Christmas night out, with 5 middle-aged dads performing classic boy-band hits, supported by the amazing Me&Her. We really want to see the local community get behind events like this. Supporting local performers and bringing more entertainment into Wells only works if we turn up, fill the venue and show that there is an appetite for it. Join us for a very special night celebrating the music of Elvis Presley, as Wells' own performer, Harry James, takes to the Studio24 stage backed live by the incredible The Firebirds. ⭐ HARRY JAMES Harry James began his singing career in January 2025 after discovering his passion for the music, sound and style of the 1950s but his rise since then has been remarkable. At just 16 years old, Harry entered his first professional Elvis Tribute Artist competition and achieved an incredible 3rd place out of 39 contestants. Since then, he has travelled across the UK performing from Devon to Scotland and has shared the stage with some of the industry's leading performers and bands, including The Casinos, The Creoles and The Firebirds. 2027 is shaping up to be his biggest year yet. Harry is booked to headline major UK festivals including Twinwood and Rock ’n’ Ribs, has a five-week UK theatre tour alongside ETA Louis Brown, and is due to travel to Memphis during Elvis Week to perform in the home of the King himself. Love singing? Join us for a special Come & Sing of Schubert's Mass in G, led by the outstanding Thomas Allery. Whether you’re a regular choir member, an experienced singer, or simply fancy spending a day singing some beautiful choral music, you’ll be very welcome. Thomas Allery is a London-based conductor, organist and harpsichordist with a varied career spanning choral music, historical performance and teaching. In 2023, he was appointed Director of Music at Temple Church in London, where he directs and trains the professional choirs and leads the church’s choral education programme. Having studied at the University of Oxford, the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Thomas brings a wealth of musical knowledge and experience to his work. He is also a founding member of the award-winning period ensemble Ensemble Hesperi and teaches basso continuo at the Royal College of Music. We’re delighted to welcome Thomas back to Kent having previously been Organ Scholar at Canterbury Cathedral. HDIF Children's Disco Halloween Party

Date change! This is now happening on Halloween itself - Saturday October 31st! A Halloween edition of our all-ages daytime disco! Come and dance to indie pop, northern soul, and Motown, with some spooky gems and graveyard smashes thrown in for good measure. And, of course, if you feel like dressing up, then please do! Come and rattle your bones to "There's A Ghost In My House". "Monster Mash", and lots lots more! We've held the HDIF Children's disco at the End Of The Road festival since 2011, and they've been lots and lots of fun. We play our usual mixture of indie pop and soul, and the discos are a wonderful opportunity for kids to bop around to Belle & Sebastian, Allo Darlin', Ramones, Pixies and more, and for their parents to bop along with them. It can often be hard to get out to club nights once you become a parent, so these discos are as much a chance for the parents to go out dancing as they are for the kids.
