About this event

Picky New Promotions present GHOST PATTERNS is on Thursday 26 November 2026 at The Black Prince, Northampton, with doors at 19:30. Tickets start at £13.20, including the booking fee.

Picky New Promotions are excited to present the return of London's GHOST PATTERNS to the Black Prince in Northampton on Thursday, Nov 26! Ghost Patterns fuse elements of modern psychedelic rock’n’roll with shoegazey guitar textures. Since forming in 2019, they have shared stages with prominent bands in the genre, such as Helicon, Cult Of Dom Keller, Daiistar, Magic Shoppe, New Candys, Ceremony East Coast, Tremours, The Dharma Chain, and most recently, Pink Breath Of Heaven. Inspired by 60s psychedelia, the late 70s/80s independent scene, and the early UK shoegazing era, their songwriting captures a range of energies, at times delivering a certain directness and intensity, and at other times invoking wider, more expansive lush cinematic-type arrangements. Their live performances often go beyond the confines and discipline of the recording environment, leading to freer improvisations reminiscent of the modern psych scene. Expect washed-out guitars and effects including a cacophony of delays, reverbs, fuzz, and feedback, complimented by an array of analogue type synth sounds. Ghost Patterns' second album, ‘Mirror Image,’ is set for release this year on Nov 20, on vinyl/cd/down...

WASTED YOUTH

The Black Prince · Northampton

Wasted Youth continue their 2026 tour with a gig at one of our favourite venues, The Black Prince. This will be the fourth consecutive year we've played there and each time has been amazing! Recently, Wasted Youth toured the UK with the Psychedelic Furs and Pop Will Eat Itself, and appeared at festivals such as Wide Awake, Rebellion and Revenant. Wasted Youth can't wait to play some new and old songs live...where arguably Wasted Youth are at their very best. A new live CD is now available 'Good evening, we are Wasted Youth' and will be on sale at our merch stall. Nova Atarashi are an exciting new band and feature Alex Novak (Venus Fly Trap), David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, The Jazz Butcher) and Tim Newman (long-time collaborator with David J, and has worked on multiple projects for Glass Modern, including ‘Love is a Ghost’). If you dig African Head Charge, Mark Stewart Maffia, On-U Sound and dub influenced post-punk, then this is for you!

PSSYCHE - Killing Joke Tribute

The Black Prince · Northampton

Pssyche is the definitive, all eras tribute to post-punk and industrial pioneers Killing Joke. Channelling the raw, tribal fury and crushing wall-of-sound intensity of the original line-up, they deliver a ferocious, high-octane live show that authentically captures the pure sonic chaos of the original band.
