Deradoorian + Kate NV + GAL GO + The Cloud

The Nest · Oxford

Oh my, Divine Schism have been huge fans of Deradoorian's music for years and we're so delighted to be bringing her to Oxford for the first time! She is joined by Kate NV, GAL GO (Ignacio Salvadores from King Krule) and The Cloud for an all ages and wheelchair accessible show at the Nest, Oxford on Fri 30th Oct, 2026! Fusing elements of indie rock, avant-garde electronic music, dub, and dance rhythms, Deradoorian is the name Angel Deradoorian works under as a solo artist. She launched said solo career after making a name for herself as a member of Dirty Projectors and collaborating with artists such as Avey Tare and Flying Lotus. Her albums, including 2015's 'The Expanding Flower Planet' and 2020's 'Find the Sun', are cosmic song cycles informed by her spiritual journey. After collaborating with Kate NV under the name Decisive Pink on 2023's heavily electronic 'Ticket to Fame', Deradoorian added that sound to her already jam-packed approach on 2025's 'Ready for Heaven'. ‘Ready for Heaven’ deals with heaven and earth, damnation and salvation, and using intelligence against rampant, naked greed. It is a classic forty minute set of inquisitive pop songs, blessed with a lightness o...

HMS Morris + My Precious Bunny + St. Cecilia

The Nest · Oxford

Outrageous show Oxford as we welcome friends HMS Morris, My Precious Bunny and St. Cecilia to the Nest on Thurs 19th Nov! Welsh wizards HMS Morris come back to Oxford after too long - their unreal artrock shows are something to behold! All three of their albums have been shortlisted for the Welsh Music Prize, a testament to the band’s singular voice in the vibrant Welsh music scene. From euphoric synths to introspective lyrics and flamboyant stagecraft, HMS Morris craft sonic experiences that are as intellectually curious as they are emotionally powerful. Their unforgettable live shows have taken them across the globe – from SXSW in Texas to KMC in Osaka and we are stoked to be in their presence again next month! My Precious Bunny is the solo project from Lily Wolter of dream-pop duo Penelope Isles, who is touring her wonderful debut album A Moment In My Eyes (out via Bella Union). Wolter and her band craft music that feels like a memory: sun-faded, sprawling, and deeply alive. It’s intimate and cinematic all at once: music for late-night heart-to-hearts and long drives to nowhere in particular, every note heavy with nostalgia and motion. St. Cecilia wowed us last year suppor...

Trash Kit

The Nest · Oxford

Holy heck yes! TRASH KIT are playing in Oxford this Dec at the Nest! TRASH KIT are Ray Aggs (guitar, vocals), Rachel Horwood (drums, vocals) and Clémentine March (bass). Three deeply creative individuals united by a shared musicality that surges through their bodies, hearts and heads. Their songs, once succinct, patchwork post-punk numbers of an honest diary-like nature now tussle more with long-form songwriting, expeditious polyphony and cascades of sung-spoke vocals. Songs on their last album Horizon (2019) have had their very fabric stretched into smart new shapes, allowing the band to run away with refrains and unlock the dancefloor. Although Trash Kit have their forebears in bands like Sleater Kinney, The Ex and The Raincoats, their sound is still very much their own take on facing forwards and relies as much on the naturalism of an internalised folk music as on their sincerity of vision. 2026 marks a new reinvigorated era for the band as they are joined by bassist Clémentine March. Breathing fresh life into their back catalogue on stage and jumping head first into sharing new material live, her spirited and responsive playing is once again steering the trio into new, expans...
