Jamboree, London

About this event

The Turbans at Jamboree is on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Jamboree, London, with doors at 20:00. Tickets start at £19.30, including the booking fee.

The Turbans return to Jamboree for a magical November Sunday night. The band are a very special international collective whose music draws deeply from Arabic, Balkan, and Turkish traditions, with threads from Eastern Europe and the wider Mediterranean! Founded in folk but lit by powerful electric guitar lines, their sweeping orchestral layers and ancient oriental rhythms combine to create a psychedelic, transcendental sound. With a bold eastern sound, driving rhythmic pulse, and a striking presence, they leave audiences with little choice but to smile, dance, and shout for joy. Built from the intertwining paths and cultural crossings of its widely travelled, highly skilled musicians, the band have grown from humble beginnings into a distinctive force on the global world music scene. Their live show is the real driving force: an interstellar, crowd-igniting experience that pulls everyone into the same rhythm. Energy flows freely between stage and audience and the crowd moves as one. The band's core members have roots in Bulgaria, Greece, Iraq, Israel, Iran, England, Spain, and Italy, and have come together, united beyond borders, to play concerts and main-stage festivals across Euro...

Django Chutney + Le Trio qu'à trois at Jamboree

Jamboree · London

A Wednesday night of sweet, swinging Gypsy-Jazz at Jamboree with Django Chutney, bringing their special sound rooted in the 1930s Hot Club era and reaching through decades and styles from New Orleans jazz to Chicago blues and Parisian musette! Django Chutney have been described as a virtuosic gypsy-jazz “manouche et trois”, due in equal parts for their respect for the genre, an unruly chaotic energy and a huge dose of tongue-in-cheek humour. They combine tightly woven three part vocal harmonies reminiscent of '30s and '40s American vocal groups The Mills Brothers and the Ink Spots; ridiculous guitar show-offery that draws as much from Django Reinhardt as it does from Guthrie Govan, and double bass solos that drag Pops Foster's slap technique kicking and screaming into the 21st century. The Brighton-based trio have been blowing away audiences since 2021. In support, Le Trio qu'à trois, comprising of Gilles, Max, and Gus, revisit classic jazz standards. Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!

Jamboree Halloween Party With The Spanner Jazz Punks, The Bubbleologist Cabaret Show + More

Jamboree · London

The annual Jamboree Halloween Party! A truly ghoulish night of brash, theatrical, hair-raising rock'n'roll to celebrate All Hallows' Eve. HDIF Family Disco - All-Ages Daytime Indie Club

The Phoenix Club · London

We've held the HDIF Children's disco at the End Of The Road festival since 2011, and they've been lots and lots of fun. We play our usual mixture of indie pop and soul, and the discos are a wonderful opportunity for kids to bop around to Belle & Sebastian, Allo Darlin', Ramones, Pixies and more, and for their parents to bop along with them. It can often be hard to get out to club nights once you become a parent, so these discos are as much a chance for the parents to go out dancing as they are for the kids. We also want to provide an alternative to the many rave-themed kids discos that are on offer in London. If you'd rather dance to your favourite indie pop and Motown songs with your children, then we're the disco for you! Music will be played at a reasonable level. We'll make sure that the songs aren't played too loud, but if you're worried about volume please do bring along ear defenders for your kids. Everyone is welcome at our kids discos - children, parents and family friends - but we follow similar rules to Coram's Fields - so no admission for adults unless they are accompanied by a child. About The Phoenix: The venue is a wonderful basement bar with a wooden dancefloor. Ent...

The Holy Mothers + Taurus Trakker + Brigandage

Dublin Castle · London

The Holy Mothers - Christmas is just around the corner, so the Holy Mother is needless to say at the forefront of our thoughts. But this be Mothers plural and it’s JoJo upfront , once of JoJo and the Teeth, much loved as they were for their strident, quirky punk n roll. So we await this new vehicle of JoJo’s with about the same excitement and anticipation as the thought of unwrapping Sindy and Action Man of a Xmas back in the day. With words like ‘ferocious’ ‘theatrical’ and ‘dark’ on the lips of admirers, breath is bated. Welcome back JoJo. Taurus Trakker - West London punk duo legends who in their spare time recently created a much applauded stage show/musical all about the rise of the punk rock phenomenon in the UK, it being the golden jubilee n all that. Great combo anyway, with rebel rock nuances that suggest The Clash without ever copying them. And one Mick Jones has been known to adjust knobs and sliders for them I believe so there ya go. Great stuff. Brigandage- with Michelle upfront, just as you’d want it, are well and truly back on the circuit playing those ringing, bright eyed and bushy tailed sassy punk numbers that got the them called Posipunk back in...
