2:22 A Ghost Story

Buscot Park Theatre · Faringdon

A Dinner party; A haunted house; A tragic secret. As the clock ticks towards 2:22am tensions amongst the four dinner guests start to rise and reality begins to unravel. Is there really something in the house, or is someone losing their mind? 2:22 A Ghost Story is full of twists and will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final chilling moment. Only Four performances, each starting at 7.30pm. Our bar will be serving wines, beer and soft drinks from 6.45pm and during the interval. Cash or card payments accepted. The theatre is quite remote, so a car is needed for access, and there is a short walk from the car park to the theatre. The auditorium is accessed via a flight of stairs, and the seating itself is raked, which makes it unsuitable for those with reduced mobility (wheelchair users, people who rely on a walking frame)

Canterbury based singer songwriter Luke Jackson has been touring and recording for over 10 years now, steadily developing an enviable reputation for himself in the Folk, Roots, Americana & Acoustic circuits. In addition to the UK, Luke regularly tours across Europe, USA and Canada. September 2019 marked his first full solo tour in the USA and his last full length studio album ‘Journals’ was released in November that year to great reviews and was made ‘Album of the Year’ by Fatea Magazine, with R2 Magazine saying ‘Journals’ is an excellent album from a very special singer with a great repertoire, fully confirming his star potential beyond the folk scene’. After going back to both Europe and the USA in early 2020 for another two successful tours., Luke kept himself busy throughout 2020 and engaged with the musical community through a series of themed live stream shows. After a bit of a creative writing surge, released a 7 track EP...

Barry from Watford with Shooting from the new hip “second date added

Park View · Chalkwell

Demagogue? Iconoclast? Dilettante? Virtuoso? Ok, these words have nothing to do with the show but they do make it sound clever and that's what it's all about. Shooting from the (new) hip, still alive and kicking, the nation's favourite octogenarian and hit of Radio 2's Steve Wright in the Afternoon and Sky Atlantic's Common Ground returns with his stand-up show armed with fierce one-liners, biting satire plus some effing and that sort of thing for the teens. A rip-roaring, fast-paced hilarious show. 'Top quality character comedy' (Guardian). 'Alex Lowe's stunning creation' (Time Out). 'Wonderfully observed ... poignant and very funny' (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard). 92 year old Barry from Watford was first brought to public consciousness when he became a cult star on Iain Lee's LBC 97.3FM phone-in show. London listeners loved Barry’s sunny outlook and joie de vie and followed him to Iain Lee’s show on Absolute Radio. He was also a regular feature in the form of the “lifestyle guru” on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2. His viral hits about 'Minty Biscuits' and 'Carpetright' have amassed 100s of millions of hits whilst his Channel 4 game show with Noel Edmonds "...
